PROVIDER
Whitney Pugh
FNP-BC
Whitney is the visionary and mastermind behind the Agenacare brand.
Born in Rural Retreat VA, Whitney received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Radford University. She has been a FNP-BC for 11 years and is also Autonomous in the State of Virginia. After traveling as a nurse in the Emergency Department, she met long time native of Franklin County, Joey aka “Posm” (funny story for later). They have been married for 16 years and have 2 amazing kids, Miles and Emersyn.
Whitney started Agenacare Housecalls in 2019 as a result of the broken healthcare. She wanted to try and fix the problem one county at a time. When COVID hit in March 2020 Agenacare took off. It was during this time that Whitney saw the additional healthcare needs in her home community.
Whitney and Kirstin have worked side by side for 2 years and are more like family instead of colleagues. She knew the county needed an additional Urgent Care to help with the demand and knew she wanted to partner for this adventure. There was no one better suited than Kirstin.

Originally from New Jersey, Kirstin attended Roanoke College where she played soccer. From there, she graduated from the Monmouth University physician assistant program.
Fun Fact: We actually found Kirstin when she was working at Lowe’s!
Kirstin started her journey with Agenacare Housecalls in January 2021, shortly after that she joined our aesthetics team as Injector Kiki.
Kirstin states “I have always had a passion for providing top notch care and connecting with my patients. Through Agenacare, I have been able to care for and truly get to know the Franklin County community and understand its healthcare needs. I’m excited to be a part of something that will bring a much-needed service to the community and offer relief for our local, overflowing emergency rooms. I’m also excited to continue to deliver care that is focused on the patient and develop relationships with all our patients.”
Kirstin currently resides in Roanoke with her boyfriend, Adam and her sweet pup, Otto.
